I chose to use one of their best selling products – the STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum to replace my daily vitamin C serum over a span of 3 weeks.
I searched through Juice Beauty’s website and below is the product description as well as claims of what this serum can help to achieve.
On my first application, the serum indeed has a gel type texture and goes on very quickly into the skin, leaving a light feel. The smell is extremely mild, similar to that of a faint lemon mixed with ginger scent. As the product is organic, the fragrance is all natural and shouldn’t be a cause for concern.
After a week of using the product, my skin looked as healthy as it previously was.
Note* I have normal skin and my vitamin C serum has been one of the main attributes in maintaining my skin.
I felt that the STEM CELLULAR serum was actually a good replacement as my skin remained hydrated and smooth.
My skin remained healthy; it seemed to impart some radiance or glow, which could be from the vitamin C found in this serum, but nothing extraordinary. I have some smile lines and I did feel that my skin was more plump, and the lines did not seem as ‘harsh’ as I found them to be.
There was no further improvement in my skin’s texture, it continued to look and feel hydrated and radiant (no lightening of spots, etc). I guess that a person would have to use this for much longer before they can actually see if it does lighten dark spots.
Overall, I did enjoy this serum very much and will continue to use it to see if there are any further improvements. It does live up to its claims of moisturising the skin, as well as improving the appearance of skin tone. I would recommend this product to anyone between the ages of 25 to 35, as I can’t vouch for how it would perform on more mature skin types.
I hope this review helps you, if you are looking to try something from the Juice Beauty range!
